Workplace COVID-19 Complaints
As workers and employers across the State are managing the ever-changing circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of the Illinois Attorney General compiled resources available to workers. This is intended to help direct complaints and inquiries to a State of Illinois agency that is available to provide assistance.
Report non-essential businesses improperly staying open
Ask questions about or file for employee benefits (e.g., hazard pay, paid leave)
Submit complaints about workplace safety (e.g., concerns about employees working in close proximity or in an unsanitary environment)
Please note that government entities are receiving a high volume of complaints and inquiries and may be operating with reduced staff at this time. As a result, response times to complaints, email, and telephone calls may be delayed.
