SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the SANE Coordinator, the Intern will work collaboratively within the Division to provide administrative support with day to day SANE Program functions. This includes, but is not limited to: database management, coordination of the lending library, organization and tracking of clinical training log submissions, inventory and ordering of training supplies and generating office paperwork such as purchase orders and travel paperwork.
As needed, the Intern will assist in the preparation and distribution of training and other outreach materials related to the SANE Program. The Intern shall also assist in the generation of reports and data submission needs for SANE Program.
The ideal candidate will be a full or part-time student working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Nursing or related field. Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, inquisitive student desiring to grow their knowledge of forensic medicine. Ability to keep information confidential, work collaboratively, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and attendance are essential to this position. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week. Please note that this internship is unpaid.
