CLASSIFICATION: Facilities Supervisor

DIVISION SERVED: Office Services

LOCATION: Chicago

POSITION SALARY: Commensurate with experience

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Director of Office Services, the Facilities Supervisor coordinates, assesses, designates and assigns the workload of staff engaged in logistical functions of the office including but not limited to mail, vehicle fleet, facility maintenance, office equipment, printing, office moves, and supplies.

The Facilities Supervisor ensures that the office needs are met and complies with the OAG policy. The Facilities Supervisor prepares requisite documentation for analysis and approval of the Director of Office Services. They will also assist the Director of Office Services by effectuating office policies and practices and prepares and participates in performance evaluations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires an associate’s degree with at least three years of progressively responsible experience, or any combinations of comparable education and experience. Strong administrative skills, sound judgment, problem solving-ability and excellent written and verbal communications skills are required. Attendance and the ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees and the general public are essential functions of this position.

HOURS OF WORK:: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
