About Us
The Attorney General's Office supports parents and teachers in their efforts to teach kids how to use technology safely. Specifically, our Internet Safety Specialists provide age-appropriate presentations for students, as well as presentations for parents and educators in schools throughout Illinois. If you would like to request such a presentation at your school, please e-mail our specialists at e-info@atg.state.il.us.
Internet Safety
The goals of our presentations are as follows:
- Students: Encourage empathy, support critical thinking, promote conflict resolution skills as they relate to cyberbullying.
- Parents and Educators: Build a foundation of Internet safety knowledge, educate on the scope of cyberbullying, discuss intervention and prevention strategies.
