Graphic Designer and Production Specialist

SALARY: Commensurate with experience


The Graphic Designer and Production Specialist creates visual materials for general branding, social media, public relations, special events, marketing, and other areas. He or she coordinates production, using best practices for the industry and in the most cost-effective manner. The Graphic Designer and Production Specialist assists with and executes the creative needs of various departments such as: printed forms, brochures, scans, posters, embedded emails, etc. He or she submits files to printers and vendors, while obtaining and managing proofs to ensure accuracy and quality assurance. He or she completes required finishing work including reproducing, cutting, folding, mounting, and other manner of post-production as required.

The Graphic Designer and Production Specialist creates, edits and updates video content and digital collaterals to be used on the website, social media platforms and broadcast.


This position requires a minimum of an associate degree in graphic design, design arts or related field, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience with an established portfolio representing successful execution of design projects in a variety of media. Requires the ability to visualize, execute and communicate high-quality visual design. Experience using Creative Cloud: primarily Adobe Illustrator, In Design, and Photoshop, and Acrobat; Adobe After-Effects or Premier Pro and/or Quark Express. Knowledge of digital file formats (jpg, psd, tiff, gif, eps, pdf). Ability to implement templated design styles, as well as create new layouts and campaigns. Advanced visual style with focus on typography, composition, photography, and color schemes. Proficiency in video, photography and audio integration for web and social media preferred. Attendance and the ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with OAG employees and the general public is required. The ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds, kneel, use a step ladder, and, at times, stand for extended periods of time is required.

HOURS OF WORK: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
