Division Chief - Child Support Enforcement - Chicago or SpringfieldTitle: Division Chief - Child Support Enforcement Division: Child Support Enforcement Location: Chicago or Springfield The Child Support Enforcement Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, which handles child support and government assistance cases for the Department of Healthcare and Family Services and Department of Human Services, is interviewing attorneys for the position of Division Chief. The central duties include:
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates for Division Chief must be attorneys and members of the Illinois State Bar, and have at least 10 years of litigation experience. Travel is required to handle cases in court throughout the State and help train new attorneys. Skills and experience must include knowledge of family law, civil law and procedure, judicial rules and procedures, and evidentiary rules. Strong writing and advocacy skills are required. Candidates with management experience are preferred. Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
